Covid-19 Update: Part 3
We are moving toward being back together!
We are tentatively planning our "grand reopening" for our Sunday worship services for June 7th. We will have two services, one at 9am and one at 11am. Both of them will be streamed online.
We will still only have Sunday school online, and we are not planning a nursery when we first reopen. But those things are coming back as soon as we can do those carefully and in a healthy way. Because our families will be sitting all together in the sanctuary, our services will be shorter!
We are opening our prayer meetings up again starting Wednesday, May 27th in the sanctuary with social distancing protocols.
Because of weather predictions, we will not be doing "drive-in" church for the next couple of weeks. However, if you were planning on attending "drive-in" church, you are welcome to join us in the sanctuary for a "soft opening" as we stream our services. We are not ready for the "grand opening," yet, so we are asking that if Facebook is still working fine for you to keep using that at this time. However, we are not going to turn anyone away who wants to join us! (We can only have 130 in our services according to the Phase 1 rules, though.) We will "social distance" in the sanctuary, and we are asking all who attend to wear masks and sit in family units, at least 6 ft from other families. We will have some extra cloth masks on hand if you need one.
**PLEASE DO NOT DO ANYTHING THAT MAKES YOU FEEL UNSAFE OR THAT YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITH. We will continue to stream our services into the future (we are working on doing that even better than we do now), so you will be able to tune in there. We have also ordered an FM transmitter that will be able to broadcast our services into our parking lot. So you can come to the building and tune in that way as well during our services.**
Our church offices will return to regular schedule Monday, May 25th. If our church family can minister to you in any way during this time, please call us at 318-899-3371.
